Mount Rainier Experience the ultimate in American alpine climbing on Mount Rainier. Climbing to a peak of 14,410 feet, Mount Rainier is a great spot for hiking, picnics, photography, and more.

Seaplane Tours  Take a scenic tour around the South Sound from above and see a variety of landmarks, including Point Ruston, McNeil Island, and Brown’s Point.

Museum of Glass Open Wednesday through Sunday, this premier contemporary art museum features exhibits showcasing various works of art using glass. Opened in 2002, visitors can watch glass makers at work or try to make their own pieces of glass art.

Chihuly Bridge of Glass Visit the 500-foot-long pedestrian Chihuly Bridge, a partnership between hometown and world-renown glass artist Dale Chihuly and the Museum of Glass. The bridge is a walkable overpass linking the museum and downtown Tacoma and has over 2,000 glass objects.

Gig Harbor Visit neighboring Gig Harbor and rent a kayak, go paddle boarding, or take a sunset cruise. There is also plenty to see on a waterfront walking tour or a harbor wildlife watch.
