The U.S. Department of State released the Visa Bulletin for July 2024, providing the latest information on visa statuses. Unfortunately, due to the high demand for EB-3 visas, final action dates have been pushed back.
The Philippines and Worldwide EB-3 final action dates are now December 1, 2021. Only candidates with a priority date of December 1, 2021, or earlier can proceed with their visa appointment. The final action date for China remains September 1, 2020, while India shifts a few days to September 22, 2012.
MedPro International is closely monitoring this situation and will alert Explorers of any additional changes. The American Association of International Healthcare Recruitment is urging immediate congressional action on legislation (Healthcare Workforce Resilience Act) to open up more visas for foreign-educated healthcare professionals. “International nurses are essential to safe nurse staffing,” said AAIHR President and MedPro International Executive Vice President, International Operations Patty Jeffrey, R.N. “We are focused on helping alleviate this visa shortage through congressional action and continuing to assist foreign-educated nurses pursuing their U.S. healthcare career.”
In the wake of this latest update, MedPro International encourages Explorers to continue complying with all requests and documentation and completing applications so their certifications, licensure applications, and credential applications can move through timely. MedPro International also encourages qualified foreign-educated healthcare professionals to apply and start the process of achieving a rewarding U.S. healthcare career.
