MedPro International’s Global Giving initiative continues to make a meaningful global impact. This time in Nairobi, Kenya, in partnership with the Kenya Society for the Blind (KSB).
From June 15–17, 2025, the KSB Eye Clinic became a hub of care, connection, and community as we delivered free healthcare services focused on restoring vision, screening for chronic conditions, and uplifting lives through proactive, compassionate outreach.
In partnership with KSB, a local organization committed to preventing avoidable blindness and promoting proactive eye care, this event empowered hundreds of individuals with access to critical resources and support. Through these outreach camps, KSB conducts screenings, distributes free eyeglasses, and provides education on eye health and hygiene. Their mission aligned perfectly with the goals of Global Giving.
Services Provided:
During the three-day clinic, services included:
- Comprehensive eye screenings
- Cataract surgeries
- Medications, spectacles, reading glasses, and assistive devices
- Blood pressure and diabetes screenings
- Post-cataract follow-up reviews
This Global Giving event was made possible through the invaluable partnership of the Kenya Society for the Blind, the dedication of local medical professionals and partners, and the incredible commitment of more than 85 MedPro Explorers who volunteered their time and energy. Together, this team delivered essential care to individuals who may not otherwise have had access. Transforming lives and advancing our mission to build a healthier, more equitable world, one community at a time.

“Being part of a global giving initiative that allows us to give back to the communities we recruit from is incredibly rewarding,” said Stephanie Pennington, MedPro International Recruiter. “It’s a privilege to extend support to individuals who may not have access to vital resources, and to play a small part in making a meaningful difference in their lives. What makes this experience even more impactful is the opportunity to connect with people from these communities, as well as the dedicated volunteers who share a common passion for service. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion, collaboration, and community.” This event stands as a reminder of what can be accomplished when organizations and individuals come together with a shared purpose.
