The U.S. Department of State releases the February 2026 Visa Bulletin

The U.S. Department of State has released the February 2026 Visa Bulletin, providing the latest updates on immigrant visa availability. This month’s bulletin reflects continued forward movement in several employment-based categories, including EB-3.

As of February 2026, the Final Action Dates for EB-3 visas are as follows:

  • Philippines & All Chargeability Areas (except listed): June 1, 2023
  • India: November 15, 2013
  • China: May 1, 2021

Applicants with a priority date earlier than June 1, 2023 (for the Philippines and All Chargeability Areas) may now be eligible for final visa action, including immigrant visa issuance or adjustment of status, provided all other requirements are met.

This represents positive forward movement and continued progress for healthcare professionals awaiting visa availability.

Championing Global Talent

Patty Jeffrey, Executive Vice President of International Operations at MedPro International, continues to champion foreign-educated healthcare professionals as we move into 2026 actively. MedPro remains deeply engaged in advocacy efforts, recently meeting with policymakers in Washington, D.C., to advance solutions to the national nursing shortage.

These ongoing discussions include strong support for the reintroduction of the Healthcare Workforce Resilience Act. This bipartisan proposal would allow up to 25,000 highly skilled international nurses to contribute their expertise to U.S. hospitals facing critical staffing needs. This continued advocacy reflects MedPro’s commitment to expanding opportunities for nurses worldwide while strengthening patient care across the United States.

Through sustained collaboration with legislators and industry leaders, MedPro is helping shape a stronger future for nurses, healthcare systems, and the communities they serve.
