This month, we’re proud to highlight two incredible ERMs who go above and beyond to support our international healthcare professionals every step of the way: Arman Barbuco and Sami Morales.
Whether it’s a reassuring conversation, a cultural connection, or just a little extra kindness, Arman and Sami are more than just MedPro team members, they’re trusted guides for the Explorer community.
Arman Barbuco

🕓 10+ years with MedPro (4 in the Philippines, 6.5 in Florida)
Arman knows firsthand what it’s like to move across the world in search of opportunity—and that’s what makes him such a powerful presence for our Explorers.
“What I enjoy most about working with our Explorers is the opportunity to connect with them—hearing their stories, inspirations, and accomplishments. It’s a privilege to be part of their journey and to share my own experience as an immigrant along the way.”
Outside of work, Arman lives a vibrant life filled with creativity and adventure. He’s an award-winning photographer with work exhibited in Europe, a pickleball enthusiast, a passionate home cook, and a seasoned traveler who finds joy in discovering new places and cultures.

Sami Morales

As a Cuban-American, Sami knows the importance of cultural identity—and she brings that perspective to every interaction with her Explorers.
“I love getting to know my Explorers on a personal level and learning their culture! I care about them beyond their working assignments, and love to build that bond. I know what it is like to be in a country where the language and customs are different; it is nice to be able to speak about our roots!”
Sami is also a passionate animal advocate who shows, grooms, and trains dogs—and even keeps jumping spiders as pets! She collects snow globes, carves crystals, and is a big fan of reality TV when it’s time to unwind.
🌟 Fun Fact: Her first language was Spanish, not English!
