The U.S. Department of State has released the March 2026 Visa Bulletin, providing the latest updates on immigrant visa availability. This month’s bulletin shows continued advancement in several employment-based categories, including EB-3, bringing more healthcare professionals closer to eligibility for final visa action.
As of March 2026, the Final Action Dates for EB-3 visas are:
- All Chargeability Areas (except listed) EB-3: October 1, 2023
- Philippines EB-3: August 1, 2023
- India EB-3: November 15, 2013
- China EB-3: May 1, 2021
Applicants with a priority date earlier than the date listed above may be eligible for final action, meaning immigrant visa issuance (consular processing) or adjustment of status approval, provided all other case requirements are met.
Championing Global Talent
Patty Jeffrey, Executive Vice President of International Operations at MedPro International, continues to actively champion foreign-educated healthcare professionals as we move through 2026. MedPro remains deeply engaged in advocacy efforts, recently meeting with policymakers in Washington, D.C. to advance solutions to the national nursing shortage.
As part of this ongoing work, MedPro has been encouraged by the reintroduction of the Healthcare Workforce Resilience Act—a bipartisan proposal that could allow up to 25,000 skilled international nurses to bring their expertise to U.S. hospitals facing urgent staffing needs.
Through sustained collaboration with legislators and industry leaders, MedPro continues advocating for meaningful pathways that support international nurses while strengthening patient care across the United States.
