Addressing Staffing Concerns

Patty Jeffrey, Executive Vice President of International Operations at MedPro International, remains a steadfast advocate for foreign-educated healthcare professionals and a vocal leader on addressing the urgent RN staffing challenges facing hospitals and long-term care facilities nationwide. That advocacy includes supporting the recently reintroduced bipartisan Healthcare Workforce Resilience Act.

If passed, this legislation would recapture previously authorized green cards —up to 25,000 for nurses and 15,000 for physicians —opening the door for MedPro International to place more legal, highly qualified healthcare professionals where they’re needed most. Members of the healthcare community are encouraging Congress to come together and pass this urgently needed legislation.

If you are a qualified healthcare professional who has not yet applied, we encourage you to start now. The MedPro team is here to guide you through every step of the process, from initial paperwork to working in a top U.S. healthcare facility.

If you are a MedPro Explorer with questions about your visa status, our Immigration Team is available to support you.
